Imagine
Having a Time Machine...

  • To help youth see themselves in the future - the ‘new normal’ of their fullest potential
  • To spur them into action today - inspiring them to believe and act now
  • To give them a life-tested playbook for everyday greatness

Not just another man in a suit. Not a polite speaker with fables of greatness. Not just more of the same uninspiring and boring lectures about working harder.

Yohancé’s journey started in South Central Los Angeles where he dealt with gangs, drugs, violence, and raising his little brother while they were homeless and starving. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Geospatial Science, he became a pilot in the United States Air Force. A spiritual event transformed his life’s mission.

Today, he inspires youth and organizations with a real-life, authentic, and unapologetic message that entertains and inspires his audience to be on par with their own greatness.

Let's do this together.

My journey started in South Central Los Angeles where I dealt with gangs, drugs, violence, and raising my little brother while we were homeless and starving. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Geospatial Science, I became a pilot in the United States Air Force.

In July of 2019 I was stationed at Beale Air Force Base in California. I was feeling very down and depressed, so I spent four hours alone in my house praying and daydreaming. God revealed himself to me that day and gave me a front row seat to my own presentation. I watched myself tell the grand story of my life in front of thousands of people.

When the ‘me’ onstage was done, God handed me ‘my book’. He allowed me to flip through the chapters and see what I was going to write. The events of my life in the book had already taken place, so I just needed to fill out all the chapters in the table of contents that God had shown me.

Today, I use the inspiration from my own journey to empower others to be on par with their own greatness.

Underprivileged Overachiver A Crenshaw Story book by Y. A. Salimu

Y.A. Salimu almost feels too grown-up in this YA memoir as his compelling story occasionally shifts from gripping novel to raw ego, putting the reader right there in the city with him. Salimu’s story is tough to listen to at times, but roars of laughter await anyone brave enough to walk in this man’s shoes.

Readers expecting a sad Oliver Twist tale will instead find a confident, talented protagonist who continually defies low expectations and inspires those around him.
